1. The sky safari connection is supported in firmware version V190619 and later. Please update if your version is older.

2. Set the Wifi Mode to ON and Protocol to LX200 in 7 MENU – Communication of the hand controller.
When using our ASCOM driver, you must change Procotol back to Rainow.
When using USB, you must turn the USB mode back ON.

3. Check the SSID, password, IP and port in the WiFi information menu.

4. On your smartphone, connect to the SSID of your mount.
If you can’t find the SSID after waiting a long time, select WiFi reset on the hand controller.

5. Enter the TELESCOPE-Setup menu in the settings menu of Sky safari.
Please select as shown below.
Set Time & Location can be turned on or off. When this is turned on, the position and time of the observer set in the sky safari will be transmitted to mount.

6. If you touch Connect, it will be connected after a while.
If you can not connect, make sure your smartphone is connected to the SSID of the mount.
If you are connected to the mount’s SSID, but not from sky safari, try Wifi reset on the hand controller.
Or, check if WiFi mode is ON or if Protocol is set to LX200.

7. Enjoy observations. 🙂
